INSPIRE TEAM

As a junior, Nikki Carnovale was a top Nationally ranked tennis player in Canada. After having represented the country on the Canadian Junior Fed Cup Team and competing in various International events, she played university tennis for the York University Lions leading them to a National Championship. Nikki received her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from York University and received her NCCP Advanced Coaching Diploma with the Coaching Association of Canada. She is a Tennis Canada certified Coach 3, Club Professional 3. Since specializing in high performance coaching, Nikki has started running the progressive tennis program at Peak Performance Tennis Academy. As part of her role within Tennis Canada, Nikki has travelled with top Canadian juniors to international events including Eddie Herr, Junior Fed Cup and the Open Super 12 Auray. She has worked with Ontario’s top players in the PTC Program and is involved in the coaching certification stream at Tennis Canada as a Course Facilitator.

As a provincially and nationally-ranked junior player, Rachel received an NCAA tennis scholarship to Flagler College in Florida. Rachel has a B.A in Sports Management/Business Administration from Flagler College. Rachel is certified by Tennis Canada as a Coach 3 and Club Professional 3. She is also certified in Wheelchair Tennis, and as a Tennis Professional by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).  Rachel has over 15 years of extensive coaching experience working in all sectors of the tennis industry in Toronto, Canada, and internationally in Florida and Australia. Rachel has been a Tennis Director (Kew Gardens Tennis Club), Head Tennis Professional (Kew Gardens Tennis Club), Tennis Professional (Granite Club), Performance Coach (Advantage Tennis International), and an NCAA Collegiate Coach (Flagler College Men's and Women's Teams). She has worked as a Community Tennis Specialist in the Development Department at Tennis Canada, and with many community tennis initiatives with various organizations including the Ontario Tennis Association. Rachel is currently the Manager of Coach Education at Tennis Canada and a Tennis Canada Coach Developer/Course Facilitator.
